We got a win tonight. It was a great game that we won 9-7. For me it was kind of a so-so night at the plate. I am till working out the kinks with my timing. Had a couple good at bats today where I was right on time then a couple where I was off so it is closer I think. I am just gonna keep on swiging it and hope to get comfortable with a few more games under my belt. I did however get 2 hits tonight. I was 2-5 with an rbi even though I wasn't feeling perfect up there. It is always good to get those hits in when you aren't feeling quite right at the plate because when you get hot having those few extra hits help to pad the stats a little;) It was another great night for me behind the plate. I can't remember if I threw out 1 or 2 guys tonight but I remember one of them for sure. There was a guy on first and the pitcher threw a curveball in the dirt way outside in the left handers batters box. I picked it and was thinking I was going to pick him off at first but then when I looked up he had started towards second. When I saw that I was caught off guard and had to reset myself and I threw a missile to second base. He was out by about 6 feet! Throwing someone out is such a great feeling. I think that was for the thrid out of the inning in the 8th too. It was a pretty big out.
Not much else to report on today. I did go see the new Pirates of the Carribean movie last night and I thought it was really good. It was way better than the third one. I didn't think the thrid one was all that great so I was skeptical of this one but it was pretty good. It isn't a must see but definitely entertaining!
